Season greetings from those of us at focused on Christ Ministries. God has put some very awesome brothers and sisters in Christ in my path the last two years, and I am so blessed by this. I would like to thank those of you who still pray for this ministry, and want the musicianaries to know that they are in our prayers. This year God had called some very special folks home to the Church triumphant; Bill & Papa, what a blessing to spend Jesus' b-day party with him! Please keep us in your prayers, Kairos, and the Priesthood, also. Jesus is the reason for the season!  Donald

Brother Brent & family are moving forward with the Community of Shoes. He asks for you to keep the ministry in prayer. There are many needs to get the coffee house up and functioning, so please bless them with time, talent or treasure.  We pray that this part of the ministry is blessed financially, and will be open in Eaton, OH by spring. e-mail Brent if you can help them in any way. Brother Bill & Jennifer have made it to snowy Wisconsin.  Bill wanted me to assure you that he is and will remain a part of this ministry. I have spoken to many people the last few days to see what they arte thankful for. I heard family, job, health, many small things, but the one thing that was not mentioned is the biggest thing to be thankful for. "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16. Nothing else means anything without this. God has also blessed us with many personal things; my abbreviated list would be; family, Kairos prison ministry, brothers & sisters in Christ, Priesthood, job, ect... Brother Brent is moving forward with the Community of Shoes, he is beginning to work on the building. Brother Bill Cain has accepted a job up in Wisconsin, so he and his wife Jennifer will be moving away very soon. I will miss him, but when God opens a door for us, we must walk through it. 9/11 This day has a very different meaning to us all then it did 10 years ago.  Many see it as the end-the end of feeling unattainable at home.  I see it as a beginning; a time where we do not take things like safety for granted. Please keep our soldiers in your prayers.

I have an announcement that is a blessing to this ministry; Brent & Merry Jo Dane have joined the Focused on Christ Ministries staff; Brent & Merry Jo live in Eaton, Ohio.  They have six kids; Curtis, Whitney, Kaitlin, Alex, Drew, & Mackenzie. They have both worked many years with the disabled in Prebble county.  They are the founders of 'Be a blessing foundation'. They attend Community Christian Church where Brent pastors occasionally.  Please welcome them to our family.

I met a couple, Brent and Merry Jo who feel called to coffee house ministry.  They are located in Eaton, Ohio and already have a facility in line.  Please keep us all in your prayers for guidance with this new ministry.  The location in Centerville is not going to happen. I am praying to be in an advisory/ promotional role only in the coffee house ministry. We also have a new team to run the youth at our church.  Please pray for Joe & Kala as they begin this new ministry.
