    The Church this month is St. John.  This church broadcasts their service on both the radio and TV.  The radio is live on WKBU-1490 AM, and the TV is broadcast on cable 21 5:00PM Sunday, 1 & 9 AM on Monday.  Please come in and see the service in person.  St. John also has a vibrant Stephen Ministry.   With God, you are never alone; join us for Sunday worship at 10:30 AM.  St John is located at 501 S 7 th. here in Richmond, In. Classic Rock with a Christian Message 

Into the Light, a Valparaiso-based Christian rock band came together in the spring of 2004 to provide music for the Praise Service at First Presbyterian Church. The band members quickly realized they shared musical tastes, and a vision for taking their gifts and God’s message to an even broader audience.  They call their music “Classic Rock with a Christian Message,” their CD and their live sets reflect their influences:

They have quickly built a local reputation as a band with a heart for outreach, performing at dozens of benefits.Their first CD, Peace be with you, has just recently been released, and it is a blessing to all who hear it. 

This is one of my favorite groups of men to work with; we have shared in more ministries than just sharing music.  Once we get the coffee house open here in Richmond, they will be booked and you will get a chance to experience “Into the Light” for yourself.  If you would like to get a copy of Peace be with you, you can contact the guys from Into the Light by going to the bands page on this website, or contact me, I try to keep an extra copy for that reason.

The Ministry this month is called "Be a Blessing"

Be a blessing ministry is based on Gal. 6:10 which tells us to be mindful to always be a blessing.  The newest members of Focused on Christ Ministries, Brent & Merry Jo Dane head up this ministry.  What they do is what we are all called to do. To reach out into the community and fill a need.  A ride to a DR. Appt.,  mowing a lawn, even painting a house for someone.  We should all do things like this, & I pray that with us working together, I will be able to bless my brothers through this ministry.
